Cosmetology Instructor License from Royal Beauty Careers and Hair Replacement Certification from New Concepts Hair Goods, INC. She received her Doctorate of the Art of Beauty Culture from the National Institute of Cosmetology, Washington, DC, and other studies at Dillard University. Dr. Flake has also been an educator for Namaste Laboratories and Design Essentials. She is a member of Top Ladies of Distinction INC and Texas Women's Empowerment Foundation. Dr. Flake is currently a member of The Church Without Walls, Pastor Ralph Douglas West and a member of the mass choir. She is the mother of three daughters, three son-in-laws and a grandmother of four. To God Be the Glory!!
